About the Instructor

Ivy Yukiko Ishihara Oldford (she/her) joined Sweet Paprika as a part-time dye studio assistant when her film & TV subtitling and interpreting work slowed due to the pandemic. She has since found dyeing yarn to be so much fun that she now balances both professions. Like many other yarn enthusiasts, she learned to knit from her beloved grandmother.
